In the April 2010 issue of Treasure Hunting Magazine, John Lynn better known as the Norfolk Wolf, writes a detailed review of the DEUS. This article is the first in a series of two articles by Lynn published in the magazine. During the research and development phase of the DEUS the author field tested several initial prototypes. His active involvement during this phase gives him a unique perspective to share in his report.

In his report Lynn said “I have never been so excited by any detector as I have with this one. Believe me when I tell you that the more I use it, the more I can appreciate just how superb this creation by XP really is. In the July 2010 issue of the Searcher Magazine, the XP DEUS is reviewed in a detailed field test. All of the features of the detector are discussed in depth. During the testing an astounding number of small hammered and Roman coins are unearthed. The article includes detailed photos of find recovered during the testing.

On February 25, 2012, Alain Loubet accepted the “Best Brand” award presented to XP Metal Detectors by the Spanish magazine Detection y Monedas. The award ceremony was held at the Hotel Acosta Vetonia in Almendralejo Spain.
